1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and VoyAhead, a sole proprietorship registered in the State of California, United States, under the fictitious business name "VoyAhead" ("VoyAhead," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of voyahead.com and any related subdomains, pages, tools, newsletters, and content (collectively, the "Site").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

If you are using the Site on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction if higher. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at privacy@voyahead.com and we will delete it.

3. What VoyAhead Is — and What It Is Not

VoyAhead is an independent travel information and content publisher. We publish guides, comparisons, recommendations, deal roundups, and editorial content about travel, and we offer tools that assemble travel preparation information for you.

We are not a travel agency, tour operator, airline, hotel, insurer, or seller of travel. We do not:

sell, book, reserve, or ticket any flight, accommodation, tour, rental, insurance policy, or other travel product;
take payment from you for travel services;
act as your agent in any transaction with a travel provider; or
control the pricing, availability, terms, cancellation policies, or performance of any third-party provider.

When you click a link on the Site and complete a purchase, that transaction is solely between you and the third-party provider, governed by that provider's own terms and conditions. We are not a party to it and have no ability to modify, cancel, refund, or enforce it.

4. The Trip Guide Tool

The Site offers a tool that generates a travel preparation guide based on details you submit, such as your destination, dates, and interests (the "Tool," and its output, a "Guide").

How Guides are produced. Guides are assembled automatically using artificial intelligence — currently OpenAI's API — together with place, weather, and climate data from third-party sources. They are not individually written, reviewed, or verified by a person before you receive them. How your inputs are handled is set out in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.

What this means for you. A Guide may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or statements that do not apply to your circumstances. Automated systems can produce content that is confidently stated and factually wrong. A Guide is a starting point for your own research, not a substitute for it. Section 6 and Section 7 apply to Guides in full.

Before you rely on anything in a Guide — particularly entry requirements, visas, health and vaccination rules, insurance coverage, transport schedules, or prices — verify it directly with the airline, hotel, insurer, embassy, consulate, or official government source.

Your inputs. You are responsible for the information you submit to the Tool. Do not submit sensitive personal information, another person's personal information without their permission, or anything unlawful. How we handle your inputs is described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability. The Tool is provided free of charge and without any service commitment. We may change, limit, or discontinue it at any time, and we do not guarantee that a Guide will be produced, delivered, or retained.

Share links. If you create a link to share a Guide, the Guide is stored so that recipients can open it, and the link expires automatically after 180 days. Anyone holding the link can view the Guide — treat it as public and do not share links containing details you would not want seen. You may ask us to delete a share link before it expires by emailing privacy@voyahead.com.

Guides may contain affiliate links. Section 4 of these Terms, immediately below, applies to Guides as it does to the rest of the Site.

5. Affiliate Disclosure, Advertising, and How We Make Money

VoyAhead is supported by affiliate commissions and referral compensation, and intends to introduce advertising. This is how we pay for the Site.

Many links on the Site are affiliate links or contain referral codes. If you click one and sign up, subscribe, or make a purchase, we may earn a commission, referral fee, bonus, or other compensation from the merchant, at no additional cost to you. In some cases we may participate in affiliate programs including, without limitation, the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and travel booking, credit card, insurance, and subscription referral programs.

You should assume that any outbound commercial link on the Site may be compensated.

Advertising. The Site may display advertising served by third-party networks, including Google. We do not select individual advertisements and are not responsible for the products, services, or claims of any advertiser. Advertisers have no involvement in our editorial content. How advertising cookies work, and how to opt out of personalized advertising, is described in our Cookie Policy.

Our editorial commitments:

Compensation does not determine our ratings, rankings, or recommendations. We aim to recommend what we believe is genuinely useful.
We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review.
Not all offers, providers, or products available in the market are covered on the Site. Our coverage is not exhaustive and should not be treated as a complete survey of the market.
Rates, offers, bonuses, and terms shown on the Site are those we believed accurate at the time of publication and are subject to change by the provider at any time without notice to us.

This disclosure is made in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 C.F.R. Part 255).

6. Third-Party Sites, Providers, and Content

The Site links to and displays content from third parties, including booking platforms, airlines, hotels, insurers, card issuers, and advertising networks. We do not control and are not responsible for:

the content, accuracy, legality, or availability of third-party sites;
the products, services, pricing, or performance of any third-party provider;
any transaction, dispute, cancellation, delay, injury, loss, or damage arising from your dealings with a third party; or
the privacy or data practices of third parties, which are governed by their own policies.

Your dealings with third parties are at your own risk. Read their terms and privacy policies before you transact. Any dispute must be resolved directly with them.

7. No Guarantee of Accuracy

Travel information changes constantly. Prices, availability, schedules, fees, promotions, loyalty program rules, baggage policies, visa and entry requirements, health requirements, and safety conditions can change without notice — and frequently do.

We make reasonable efforts to publish accurate information, but we make no representation or warranty that any content on the Site, including any Guide, is accurate, complete, current, or applicable to your situation. Content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.

Always verify critical details directly with the airline, hotel, insurer, embassy, consulate, or official government source before you book or travel.

8. Not Professional Advice

Content on the Site is for general informational and entertainment purposes only. It is not, and must not be relied upon as:

Legal or immigration advice — including on visas, passports, entry requirements, or border policy;
Medical or health advice — including on vaccinations, medications, or travel health risks;
Financial, tax, credit, or investment advice — including on credit cards, points, miles, or currency;
Insurance advice — including on coverage adequacy or claims.

Consult a qualified professional and the relevant official authority before making decisions. You are solely responsible for your travel decisions and their consequences.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — text, photographs, graphics, logos, layouts, compilations, and software — is owned by VoyAhead or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited license. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the Site for your own non-commercial use. This includes the right to keep and use a Guide generated for you, for your own personal travel.

You may not, without our prior written permission:

copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute Site content;
scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated means to extract content or data;
use Site content to train, fine-tune, or develop any machine learning or artificial intelligence model;
use the Tool to generate Guides in bulk, or to build or supply a competing product;
frame, mirror, or present Site content as your own; or
remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or attribution notice.

Brief quotation with clear attribution and a working link back to the source page is permitted.

"VoyAhead" and the VoyAhead logo are our trademarks. Third-party names and logos appearing on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only; their appearance does not imply endorsement of or by VoyAhead.

Copyright complaints. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) to legal@voyahead.com, including: identification of the work, identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury, and your signature.

10. User Submissions

If the Site allows you to submit comments, reviews, photographs, tips, or other material ("User Content"), the following applies.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant VoyAhead a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display it on the Site and in connection with our promotion of the Site, in any media.

You represent that you own or have the rights to submit your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

You may not submit content that is: unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, fraudulent, misleading, infringing, spam, or that contains malware, another person's private information, or undisclosed commercial promotion.

We may remove, edit, or refuse any User Content at our discretion, without notice and without obligation to monitor. Opinions in User Content are those of their authors, not VoyAhead.

If you subscribe to our newsletter or other communications, you consent to receive email from us, which may include editorial content, recommendations, and promotional or affiliate offers.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting hello@voyahead.com. We handle your email address as described in our Privacy Policy. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and, where applicable, other jurisdictions' electronic marketing rules.

12. Accounts

If the Site offers accounts, you agree to provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials confidential, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@voyahead.com of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.

13. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or related systems;
interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attack the Site or its infrastructure;
introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation;
collect or harvest personal information of other users;
use the Site to send unsolicited commercial messages;
generate artificial traffic, impressions, or clicks on any advertisement or affiliate link, or encourage others to do so; or
circumvent, disable, or defeat any security or access-control feature.

We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement.

14. Privacy and Cookies

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The Site does not currently set cookies. If we introduce advertising or analytics, the Cookie Policy will be updated and the applicable consent controls put in place before the change takes effect. Separately, affiliate networks and merchants may set their own cookies on their sites, after you leave ours, recording that you arrived through the Site.

15. Availability and Changes to the Site

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any part of it at any time, without notice and without liability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may also change, update, or remove content at any time.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE, THE TOOL, ANY GUIDE, AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VoyAhead disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Site will be secure, uninterrupted, timely, accurate, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any Guide will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your trip.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VoyAhead and its owner, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, travel opportunity, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, the Tool, any Guide, or your reliance on any content, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

This includes, without limitation, damages arising from: missed flights or connections; denied boarding or entry; visa or documentation problems; cancellations, delays, or overbooking; pricing or promotion changes; personal injury or illness while traveling; theft or loss of property; reliance on an inaccurate or incomplete Guide; or the acts or omissions of any third-party provider.

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VoyAhead and its owner, employees, contractors, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site or the Tool, your User Content, your inputs to the Tool, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

19. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

20. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.

Informal resolution first. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at legal@voyahead.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least sixty (60) days.

Binding arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved informally, you and VoyAhead agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator. Arbitration will be conducted by videoconference or on the documents alone wherever the arbitrator permits; if an in-person hearing is required, it will take place in the State of California at a location the parties agree on, or failing agreement, one the arbitrator selects. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section.

Class action waiver. You and VoyAhead each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of representative proceeding.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property.

Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@voyahead.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.

21. International Users

The Site is operated from California, United States. We make no representation that the Site or its content is appropriate or available in other locations. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law, including local laws on the products and offers we describe.

By using the Site, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those in your country. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with specific data rights, see our Privacy Policy for how those rights apply.

22. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice. Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 23 survive termination.

23. General

Changes to these Terms. We may revise these Terms at any time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be indicated on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions stay in full force.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and VoyAhead regarding the Site and supersede any prior agreements.

Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
